Sommerateliers Schleswig-Holstein 2022
Künstlerinnen und Künstler der Landesverbände öffnen ihre Türen
Once again this year, Schleswig-Holstein’s art will be presented in all its diversity: on 11 and 12 June, the members of the state associations for applied and fine arts (BAK, BBK and GEDOK) will open their studios to the interested public. Opening hours: 11 am – 7 pm
In their studios, workshops and galleries, over 130 artists will be exhibiting a wide range of works from the fields of metal, ceramics, wood, textiles, glass, paper, painting, graphics, sculpture, photography/video, objects and installations. And the places where artists have set up shop across the country are just as diverse.
„Sommerateliers 2022“ offers the opportunity for direct dialogue and informal encounters with the artists and their work, providing an insight into creative processes and production spaces. This is the big difference to the exhibitions, in which only a small selection of works is shown. Studios, on the other hand, have their own mysterious magic. In them, people think, plan, experiment, produce and preserve.
The „Sommerateliers 2022“ leaflet provides a guide to finding participants in the various regions and genres, even when travelling. On the artists‘ websites, you can also find out about other offers in the studios on this weekend or deviating opening hours.
Danish colleagues from southern Denmark are also taking part this year.
Embark on a varied discovery tour through Schleswig-Holstein, the artists of the „Sommerateliers 2022“ and their guests look forward to your visit.
We would like to thank the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture of the State of Schleswig-Holstein for its support.
